DHI Challenge
Vanita (stable name Vinnie) owned by Barry & Heather Truelove competed in the DHI Challenge held at Addington Manor EC in November.
Vinnie performed well and I was really pleased with him but he did seem to find the atmosphere quite daunting!
He tried to cope as best he could but the tension cost him marks in the first test. The second test was a Freestyle to music and this suited him better as I was able to show him off to his best ability. The test was fantastic and he scored a 9 with some great comments from the judges (including Carl Hester).
He came 6th place overall and we were all really pleased with the result and I am looking forward to a great future with him.

Coco - the foal!
Coco is our beautiful foal (born earlier this year in June) who has been up to high jinks in the field!
He managed to cut his leg quite badly and decided to pick a cold and rainy afternoon just as the light was fading! To add to our drama there was a power cut which meant that we had to get a generator in so that the vet could see what he was doing with a make-shift light....
Coco is now back at the main yard for nursing (the girls have to be very careful that his wounds are cleaned thoroughly and banadaged correctly).
On the positive side Coco just loves being the centre of attention and is very much a people person, he fits in well with everybody and loves being fussed!
He will be weaned after Christmas once his leg is fully healed. It will be a little later than planned but then you know what horses are like.....

Competition Success!
Just to keep you up to date with my competition results!
Dolce Vita has recently won the Elementary Qualifier at Hargate Arena with 69.60% which means she has now qualified for the Novice & Elementary Winter Regionals!
Divine has also had a win in the Elementary Music with 76.66% so she has qualified for both the Elementary music and Open Medium at the Winter Regionals.
I am really pleased with all my recent results, the horses are all going extremely well.
